I must say again, how happy I am that Adam put her stroller together the other day because it is one of the only things that calms the rage! I feel sort of silly pushing it around the house, but if it calms her down, I will push that thing for days if I have to! Plus, at least its some sort of exercise. As little as it might do, it's about all I can do at this point, so I'll take it!

Secret smiles...

Lazy Sunday...
So Olivia had an exciting day of riding around the house, getting her photos taken, and wearing her new pants. Ooooh so exciting! She is getting so big, and has started to discover sucking her fingers, and I caught a few smiles on camera today that were actually smiles in response to me- not just because of gas! She is staring at everyone and everything, contemplating the world and analyzing important world issues. At least that's what I like to pretend because of the facial expressions she has!

New Friends...
And that wasn't the end of visitors this weekend, Olivia got to meet her Mimi last night! Mia and Pops were kind enough to offer to babysit so that Adam and I could join Ed and Kate for a valentine's day night on the town in Portland. Mimi came down from Northern Maine to spend some time with her, and Olivia had quite a fun night with everyone! It was our first time leaving home without her, and we were so happy to get photo updates of all the fun she was having, and it was nice to know that she was getting such special treatment while we were out!
We had a great time in Portland, and went to Fuji for a delicious valentine's day dinner at the hibachi grill. I'm not a huge fan of sushi but Adam is, and I have to admit, I am a huge fan of the Fuji "casco bay roll" which is probably one of the more unhealthy rolls because it's fried. But it is so good- I highly recommend it if you are ever in Portland!
We had a great night out, after dinner we went to RiRa Pub to see some friends and hear some live music. After being a hermit for 9 months, it was great to get out and see people again!!
I'm not a big celebrator of valentine's day, since I normally consider it just a hallmark holiday- but I was surprised with some beautiful roses from Adam that came with a valentine's day balloon for Olivia. He also got me a gorgeous necklace as a reward for going through labor for Olivia. Isn't that sweet?! I might have to start celebrating valentine's day every year! Hahah! Adam is a keeper indeed. :)
Here are some photos of our fun night- Hope you had a happy valentine's day as well!

Olivia photos
I'm trying to figure out how to use my new camera, so I forced Olivia to have a photo shoot this morning so I could practice! She's wearing her Olivia onesie (if you look closely the picture spells out her name) and was quite good for most of the pictures. I didn't post the ones where she started crying. That was when I knew I had pushed her too far.....
Enjoy! :)

First blog entry...

So this is the first entry on the Kennedy family blog! We decided to create this blog to keep everyone updated on things going on in our lives, mostly because of Olivia. We figured it would be nice to have a record of all the different things going on her life, and this way, we can post all the photos we take, since we have a camera in her face all the time, poor child. She is growing and changing so quickly, she's only two weeks old and already looks so different than she did when she was born!
Today was her second doctor's visit, and since her first visit last week, she has gained almost a pound, and has grown an inch and a quarter.
The days are great, Olivia is the perfect baby during the day. Now if she could only be perfect at night instead of staying up for hours on end! She definitely has her schedule confused. Its a good thing she's so cute, it makes it easy to forgive her for her partying ways!
